We are passionate about the work of Mission Aviation Fellowship - MAF. 

From January 24–31, 2026, we will take part in a winther rally "Viking Snow 2026" together with around 60 other teams. We will cover approximately 3,000 km in our 1983 Toyota, starting in Hamburg and finishing in Kristiansand. We are not allowed to use GPS or drive on highways, and we expect snow, icy wilderness, and double-digit subzero temperatures. As an extra twist to our journey, we've chosen to sleep outdoors in tents, while others enjoy the hotels along the route :-)

Michael Sjælland – the premium Team Tercel leader. He keeps an eye on everything, serves everyone hot coffee, and makes the best outdoor breakfasts. Michael loves fire, and his trusty Zippo is never far from his pocket.

Torben Knudsen – the team's technical superhero. There's nothing he can't fix, and he always knows what he's doing. Torben i the one to call for support if you are stuck. He also loves a good night's sleep, and his sleeping bag is always within reach.

David Mortensen – the nerdy glue that binds things together. He's often up late night working on new crazy ideas, making checklists, and counting down the days to the next adventure. David loves wool and is always ready to face the cold wether.

Toyota Tercel 4WD AL25 1.5 – not your everyday car. This little legend isn't very well known, maybe because it's so rusty and made from reused metal. Back in the day, it was the most fuel-efficient 4WD on the market—and a pioneer of accidental greenwashing. With 68 hp under the hood and switchable 4WD with an extra-low first gear, it can conquer almost anything.

With 300,000 km on the clock, it's a seasoned adventurer—but don't be fooled, it's in great shape. We rescued it in summer 2025 and gave it a full engine rebuild. Now it's as good as new and ready for its next challenge. 🙂
